why raise preflop?don't call turn.
Well, I thought I had read in another thread that 77 UTG was a raise, but now that I go back and check it, I was wrong. :oops:Either way, I folded the turn.Zach

It's a raise in some games, a limp in others.Limp in if you can be assured 5-6 way action, or if raising won't limit the field to 3 or less. I raise it people don't cold-call a whole lot, a tend to respect my UTG raises.

lol... I'm playing the .5/1 BEGINNER tables on Party.. nobody respects any raises, let alone UTG raises. Strangely however, I managed to only get 2 callers here.
