raising w/kk on tight 2/4 table, first to act

Over the last few days, I've been dealt KK on Party Poker 2/4 Bad Beat Jackpot tables (9 or 10 handed) 12 times, and have always raised or re-raised pre-flop regardless of position.Question - is it ever the correct play to limp in first position there, especially if the table seems rather tight? It seems that every time I raise preflop from first position, everyone folds around. By the way, out of the 12 times I had KK this weekend, I lost 8 of the 9 times we saw a flop.Thanks.

Raise everytime in limit and 95% of the time in NL.

You WANT everyone to fold around.The only time to ever limp with KK would be in early position when it is VERY likely there will be a raise behind you. I wouldn't do that in a Tight-Passive 2/4 game online though.

So?Assuming you aren't uber-tight and also assuming your opponents aren't aware enough to notice this, you shouldn't be worried about everyone folding.If everyone folds, it usually means they had hands that were not going to pay off with top pair value, i.e. hands that are only going to pay off if they beat you. For example: I don't pay off with 72 unless the flop comes 77x, and sometimes not even then. In NL, the only time you don't raise is when you are almost positive that the pot will get raised, so you can reraise. Maybe you might limp in the SB if it's folded to you.In limit though, KK is a 100% raise from every position.

You should only click the call button in limit hold'em with AA, KK, QQ, or AKs if you can't raise anymore.
