dblbassted 0
I'd dump it with a bet and a call in front of you. The possible hands that could be betting are two pr, set, str., larger str. draw, and flush draw. The only way that this hand holds up is if a spade doesn't come, the board doesnt pair, the board doesn't make a larger straight (which you probably wouldn't catch unless a non-spade 9 fell), etc. In hands like this, I'd rather cut my losses than face more bets on the turn. You really only have 3 outs to improve and a ton to avoid along the way.
Jelly-Filled Ace 2
My standard check was a sure sign I wasn't getting involved in the hand.Lead bettor was a LAG but the caller was a bit of a rock and I smelled a big draw hand there.Easy fold. Just posted this for newer players to encourage them it's ok fold in similar situations, learning to muck 10 cents can save you up to 10.00 or more at this table. Here's how the hand finished out, nothing spectacular other than the spades did hit the board.Hammerdown: folds *** TURN *** [6h 4s 8s] [5s] toofunky: checks daleabrams: bets $0.30 toofunky: calls $0.30 *** RIVER *** [6h 4s 8s 5s] [9c] toofunky: checks daleabrams: bets $0.90 toofunky: folds daleabrams collected $2.60 from pot daleabrams: doesn't show hand *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $2.70 | Rake $0.10 Board [6h 4s 8s 5s 9c] Seat 1: plunkjpmp folded on the Flop Seat 2: DuckXpert (button) folded on the Flop Seat 3: EKING657 (small blind) folded on the Flop Seat 4: Hammerdown (big blind) folded on the Flop Seat 6: toofunky folded on the River Seat 7: brascod folded on the Flop Seat 8: FLACOGRINGO folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 9: daleabrams collected ($2.60)
Smasharoo 0
While it's correct to fold the nuts with no redraws in Omaha on occasion, getting 2 to 1 with the nut straight redraw probably isn't that ocasion. You're priced in here and there's nothing wrong with check/folding a spade turn.good luck. Jonny5 0
Call and reevaluate the turn. You can't fold here. If it were bet and then a raise then it's obviously a different scenario.
crazytim 0
Just one bet? I'd call for sure, but knowing that the caller is a rock makes me scared. I would definitely not fold for one bet. Bet, raise, call, you couldnt see my cards fly quicker into the muck so I don't miss them.

quadaces 0
I never like folding the nuts on the flop. It might have been better to slow down a bit and see the turn then make a decision on your hand. IMO you gave up too early.

LewFather 0
10 max game I'm potting it and if the board comes pair or spade well have to deal with it then but I can fold it.
charder30 0
first of all there are no "rocks" at .05/.10 and like a check call on flop and ram and jam if u still have the nuts on the turn...i absouletly hate the fold on the flop, borderline idiotic, for one potsize bet and no raise you CANT fold with the NUTS
agsa6079 0
I wouldn't fold in this situation, but I would be cautious. Calling is all right and folding if a spade or the board pairing is ok, if it happens.
nosoul 0
It's safe to fold here with no redraw. You're probably tied with one of the other players, with little to no chance of improving. So, you're dodging a ton of bullets to win half the pot. Save your money and wait for a better spot.
mrdannyg 274
as smash said, you really only don't have the odds to "chase" if you are against a set and a flush draw, or are tied with the other playing holding one of the above.in a low limit game, a pot bet and a call on the flop do not necessarily mean this. i think you wait for a safe turn, then pot. it isn't a crime to call the flop and check/fold a spade or board pairing on the turn. SpeedKills 0
u have to play it strong on the flop, but be able to dump it if a scare card comes on turn
