Bryan McCabe is tied for 10th overall with 30 points OR Martin St. Louis is tied for 98th with 16 points?

I don't find McCabe being tied for 10th with 30 points that as surprising as St. Louis' struggles.Although you must remember that he started off the year on fire and has slightly cooled since (along with our power play).

McCabe didn't get any points and no PPG in the most recent game therefore the powerplay and McCabe have cooled down? Before the boston game McCabe had 10 points in his last 4 games...that's cooling down?

St Louis and to a lesser extent Iginla are struggling. No question. Sakic too.

Iginla seems to start slow and finish strong. I think he finishes top 10 in points and top 7 in goals this year.Sakic has had a few seasons where he has started slowly and finished strong. The older he gets the harder it will be. St. Louis, on the other hand, is a cause for concern. He clearly isn't playing with as much confidence, although he seems to slowly be coming around.Mcabe is a surprise, but he has always had talent.

The Vancouver Canucks essentially traded Mcabe for the Sedin twins (they got the Blackhawks 2nd overall pick, which allowed them to get both twins).Would you do this trade today? Mcabe is a legitimate Norris candidate, and the Sedins can be paired with any above average NHLer to make a strong second line. Who would you rather have?

Seriously.... Mccabe is a serious Norris candidate if the trophy is given to the guy who can score a bunch of points but is a serious defensive liability. But I'm pretty sure thats not the case. Hes a good offensive defensmen don't get me wrong, but youre dellusional if you think hes anywhere near a top shelf defencemen when it comes to DEFENCE.
