This is not a bad beat post because frankly I dont care about your bad beats, and you shouldnt care about mine.I want to see if I made a mistake in any of these hands, I dont think I did, but I want to see it from an objectable viewpoint. (By the way, I am a fast typer and a bad speller so if that bothers you, you are free to move on to the next post.)During the day at FTP there are not a ton of good games at one limit so I move up and down to find the best games, so if the average .50/$1 pot is $8.00 and there is a .10/.25 game with a large average of $8.00, I will go down there with the quickness to play. These hands are all NL.First hand:.10/.25- I have $15.00 in front of me, I am delt QQ in the SB there are about 4 limpers and I raise 4xBB ($1). I get 4 callers. Flop comes down 733, I am first to act, pot is about $4 0o I bet half the pot $2.00. Guy in the 2nd seat raises another $2.00 everyone else folds. I have no notes on this guy yet and I know that these kinds of flops invite bluffs. He certainly could have A3 or 77 but based on playing alot at these levels I am thinking he could be making a play. I like to play at crazy tables with the worst players so based on all that I think my QQ's are good. Also if you do have A3o, more power to you. At this point if I call I am facing at least a $2 if not $4 bet on 4th and 5th street which would leave me with like $5. I dont like folding QQ here and so I decide to move in for the rest of my chips. He calls and turns over AA. I have no problem with losing this hand, he didnt reraise so its tough to put him on AA.2nd Hand:.25/.50--I am delt 33 on the button I have about $25 in front of me. Guy in 2nd pos raises $2.00, there are about 4 callers. I am getting the odds to call so I do. Flop comes 8A3 rainbow. First guy to act bets .50, everyone calls. I want to raise and I want it to be an ammount that will get called. I put in a small raise of $1.50 and its called by 2 of the 4 callers.. 4th Street is 2d which now the board has 2 diamonds. The pot is around $7. Original better again bets .50, 2nd seats calls. At this point I want to take the pot so I bet $7 which is the size of the pot. Original better folds, 2nd seat calls.5th Street-Again I have no notes on this guy yet. It is very common for weak players to call a $7 bet on a flush draw. 5th street is Ac. So now I have a full house. 2nd seat checks, pot is around $20 and I want to put in a bet he might call. So I bet half the pot $10.00. He thinks for awhile and calls and turns over 88 and takes the pot with the higher full house. My thinking-I really dont see how I can put him on a hand like that because many times players will be jumping out of their shoes betting with a hand like that, especially when the 2 diamonds came. While playing 33 in that situation could have a situation like this arise, it doesnt arise often enough to not play 33 there, IMO. Again, if I had notes on him as a solid player i would have probably slowed down after he called the $7 bet, but at these crazy tables that is jus usually not the case.3rd Hand:.25/.50 the very next hand. I am in late position with TT, this hand gets delt to me before I can hit the reload button and I have only $5 left. 2 limpers, I think for a while and I decide to move in for the remaining $5. I get 2 callers with the exact kind of hands I wanted, one guy had J8o and the other has K9s. Flop comes down AT9, turn is 3, river is Q giving Mr. J8o the straight. At this point I am going to take an early lunch.Feel free to post any relovant comments.

First hand: I think you could have raised more pre-flop, a $1 raise is only a pot sized bet, its inviting everyone to call, when I play QQ I want as a # of ppl seeing the flop as possible. On the flop I don’t think pushing is a great idea, granted the fact that he had AA means you are going broke on this hand without an overcard on the turn but there is no reason to push here. Call and Bet out the turn without a scare card might be a better play, he probably goes all in at that point and you will be forced to call but you could get away from the hand if a K falls or an A.2nd Hand: “4th Street is 2d which now the board has 2 diamonds. The pot is around $7” you had 4 callers of a $2 pre-flop raise, that’s $8 before the 3 ppl put in the flop raise, the pot is more like $12. Maybe just some confusion with the #’s.Set over Set happens. You played the hand fine, I would have raised it more on the flop, you had a pre-flop raiser with lots of callers and an Ace on the flop, bet it, make the Ace come with you. I don’t like the way he played his 88’s, but you can’t put him on a higher set with that betting line. With a strong flop bet you might have been alerted to why the “caller” was coming with you....Ax into the boat would have been my fist guess.3rd Hand: S.O.L on this one.....it happens.

I agree raising more on hand one is an option pre flop. As far as not pushing, my read, which was wrong on the situation was that the guy was trying to make a play with two overs or a pair less than QQ. I figured by moving in, it will push him off the overs, make him call with the overs thus putting myself in a good position to double up. I think either way you look at it, weather you call on the flop or not its a tough situation. Thanks for taking the time to post.peace
