9-10 suited is the best hand in poker. 9-10 offsuit is one of the best hands in poker. id put it behind AA and KK. if you have 9-10 you are a favorite to win trust me. only if you have faith in it though. for all those who think im just kidding, 9-10 suited has a better chance of beating aces than any other hand. thats a fact.one time i had pocket aces and lost to 2 pair on the flop. what did the other person have? 9-10. last night i lost with kings to 9-10. i was playing some pretty high stakes hold em one night and hadnt gotten any hands. but alas, i look down at my cards and see 9-10. i say to myself "my freind has come to save me." i go all in preflop and some fool calls with AQ. haha what a moron. the first card that comes is a 10. and that holds up.oh yea, last night in the PPT robert williamson went all in with 9-10, it was the worst hand preflop but it flopped a strait and he tripled up. who else realizes the power of this hand? i suggest playing it to any raise. 9-10 off suit you should lay down sometimes though.

10 8 suited is my favorite less than premium hand... i love it.the flop always helps alot, or misses 100%... no need to screw around with it. i also found that one gappers make str8s that are alot harder for someone to see.... in NL i will often call a medium raise with this hand if i feel im will bring a few others along for the ride....it all started when my friend showed me a screenshot of his 10 8 suited on a flop or 7 9 j of his suit.... i really thought it was a pretty hand since then.

I agree, 109s is actually the best hand in poker. I suggest going all-in/capping each round every time you get it. No matter what cards come on the flop, turn, and river.

Now while I do realize (or think I realize) your post in mostly in jest and/or good fun... Your statement simply isn't correct. It is one of the best hands, but it's behind two other hands (vs AA).http://tinyurl.com/6zp3pcards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EVAs Ac 1319754 77.07 387069 22.61 5481 0.32 0.772Th 9h 387069 22.61 1319754 77.07 5481 0.32 0.228http://tinyurl.com/3muoucards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EVAs Ac 1315602 76.83 391672 22.87 5030 0.29 0.7708h 7h 391672 22.87 1315602 76.83 5030 0.29 0.230http://tinyurl.com/4mowrcards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EVAs Ac 1315168 76.81 391637 22.87 5499 0.32 0.7707h 6h 391637 22.87 1315168 76.81 5499 0.32 0.230So you can see, 87s and 76s beat T9s in terms of EV or win percent.A friend and I had a discussion/argument about this in the past and tested it. :)Stupid formatting, I can't get it formatted pretty so I included links for each one. Just look at the far right part for EV.[edit]I tested on cardplayer's icky GUI calculator and it backed this up too.

5 6 s is the best hand to go up against aces with, but the best hand is infact AA i'm affraid. Prefer J 10 s as oppose to 10 9 because when you make a str8 you make the nuts.

I know most of you guys are being sarcastic, but I actually like playing JT when the time is right. It's one of my favorite hands to play. I don't know why. You know how people have their certain hands they love (I have a friend who always plays A9 because of rounders, and he wins more often than not with it, although I always trash that hand unless I'm on the button)JJ is the hand that worries me for some reason, I'm real comfortable with QQ, and even TT, but my records show that I've been burned by JJ an awful lot and I hate looking down to see it :D

JJ is the hand from hell, to go along with the devil hand (AK)I've busted out of more tournaments due to JJ v AK than any other combo.

My gosh, you're right! 56s is like .001 EV higher, I forgot to check that when I redid my analysis! The win percent for 56 and 78 are the same, but the win percent for AA is ever so slightly lower against 56. The tie percent goes up a bit on 56s.:D :)And yeah, we all know sadly that AA is still the favorite.

Okay, now I'm really confused.
Suddenly I turned around
And she was standin' there
With silver bracelets on her wrists
And flowers in her hair.
She walked up to me so gracefully
And took my crown of thorns.
"Come in," she said,
"I'll give you shelter from the storm."
