I saw the add for freefiftydollars.com or whatever it is and I've seen several others out there. I'm wondering if there are any of these that are actually worth a shit.I'm sure you have to play a certain number of raked games, but do any of em actually put legit money in your account that you can use to build a bank roll? The answer is probably no, but with my budget a yes would be nice somewhere.

The answer is yes for bonuses that come from a site. Affiliate bonuses are a trickier thing. Some are valid, some are scams.
I've never played poker.

Yes I believe they are real---I just opened an account with a free 50 and made it into 2,345. I called them and they said I could take it all out or whatever I wanted. Some places are still honest.

To Backler, yes you can, at least I was able to.And Rockin, how'd you manage such a big profit with that? I've had it for about a week now and I'm constantly floating around $30 while playing at the .5/1 limit tables.I go for eight or players with an average pot of $5. I think one problem might be that I play a little to loose when I start to get up and it hard for me to get away from a hand when I was the aggresor pre-flop and continue it on the flop.If you have any tips, I'd appreciate it.

another site to chase bonuses is www.bonuswhores.com I'm sure these bonus sites make money off from referrals so be careful of the advice. Bonuswhores.com has some nice bonus forums.

I completed my requirements for Instant Bankroll about a week ago and everything seemed OK. $100 free with no requirements other than the number of raked hands and that you have never had a real money account at Party Poker. As soon as you clear your raked hand requirements, you can withdraw the money if you so wish. The only thing about the whole process that made me nervous was the fact that they needed my account information at Party Poker (including password!) so they could make the initial deposit for you. (You sign up for the program and create an account as part of the signup process, then get an email a few days later with a toll free number which you call to confirm your identity and complete the process.) I changed my password after this was done, though, and since you can't already have any real money in your account for this promotion anyway, I wasn't too worried.Anyway. Excellent experience. I recommend it to anyone. (No, I don't work for these guys. :-) )

i was looking at the instant bankroll site and it siad they had already processed the maximum number of acocunts for the day so i guess ill try tomorow. but my question is do they give you the $75 right away for you to play the 500 raked hands with, or do you have to wait or anything?

Yes, you do get the $75 right away to play with. I had a run of bad luck and almost had to cash in some more money to finish the requirements, but on my last hand (I was all-in in a ring game!) I won and have been climbing since, and am now back above the initial $100 (including the $25 I got for completing the hand requirements within 30 days). The catch there is that until you finish playing your 500 hands, the $75 is locked and cannot be cashed out. You can lose it all playing games, but not cash it out. Once the 500 hands are done, you can do whatever you want with it.Regarding the maximum number of signups per day: you will have to stay up until midnight PST to have a chance of getting in on it. I did it on a Tuesday night and I can't remember now, but either 10 people had already signed up at 12:15 or 15 people had already signed up at 12:10. I was sitting here refreshing the page over and over as midnight approached, so I was the first one through, but apparently you don't need to be QUITE that fanatical about it. :-)

it's worth it, play tight/aggressive and you'll walk away with a decent bankroll to take to a better site 8)
