 No read, huh?I would have layed it down...and once I got the read that he is LAG, i'de start calling him down. Just seems like he had 2-pair or a set. Plus, your kicker is relatively weak.PS>I am better at limit. You may get different advice.PSS>Don't post the results.PSSS>Use this converter http://www.selachian...hhconverter.cgi

that WAS pretty weird to call an all-in with top pair, weak kicker, with no read on the bettor. that was also a very odd raise, $2 on top of $2? never minimum raise in the future, and i mean it. never. always raise to quadruple the bet or raise about the size of the pot (after your imaginary call).e.g. pot is $20, he bets $5. i will make it somewhere in between $25 to go and $35 to go.aseemp.s. in case i forgot to tell you, never minimum raise.

You are right, I think he should lay it down as well. You have no information about his play at this point, so you can only go on what you know from this hand. What you know is this:- He limped from early position- He bet out after the flop when he was in mid position with a couple people still to act- After youre re-raise, he put you all inConsidering those things, what could he have? Well, he limped from early position, so he could easily have something like AJo or JJ, both of which would explain his re-raise putting you all-in. His bet after the flop could have been with Jx, just trying to take down the pot, but after he re-raises you then you've got to figure you are very likely behind at this point and lay it down. Yeah, turns out he was drawing to 2 outs, but there's no way you could be reasonably sure of that, and in fact you will be behind much more often than not when this kind of situation comes up.
