Lori's in a bunch of his photo's from the caribbean, so I would say yes to that.

It's funnyyou asked this question, I was think the same thing. I keep hearing about everyone else besides Lori. Everytime Daniel gets back to Vegas it's to see his dog not his girlfriend . Also, when ever he's out with Jenn, E dog, Josh etc. he never refers to Lori. Same thing I was just wondering if they were on the outs. Hopefully not.

I think that there are and should be a few things about his life that he keeps to himself. He lets us and many others view his life and is happy to do it. I think that at the level he is playing at right now would be impossible if him and lori were on the outs. You play your best when you are in a good mood and happy.

Of course we're all just speculating, but this last post sounds about right. He probably just chooses to leave this side out of the public eye. Although who really knows for sure. I'm still confused as to where she lives... if it's Michigan or with him in Vegas. Because he also mentions about having a sweet bachelor pad, lol.... But he's not really a bachelor. Although I want to do the same thing, even though I'm not either. Maybe he'll read this and chime in for us.Oh wait... that reminded me... There was a thread a couple weeks ago where the member Lori posted... and Daniel made a reply that said "That's not my Lori". So that probably means things are still all going well.

I'm pretty lucky myself. When I got into poker I took my girlfriend right along with me. Now she plays all the time also. We pretty much fight over the computer as to who can play.In fact, one of my best poker memories with her was about 2 weeks ago... We are playing at a charity casino thing that goes on all the time around here. Normally we aren't in many pots together, not so much because we avoid it, but we both play tight and if I see her raise, I know I can fold anything marginal. Well I get AQ in early position and raise it the max (1-3 spread limit game, so max is to 4) Get a caller or two, along with her. I flop the Q and bet the max... one caller, and she calls me too. At this point, i'm wondering what she has... Next card is a blank, I bet 3 again, they both call again. Well now I am thinking we might be splitting this pot... River comes, I bet... first caller folds (Fishy fishy).... And she calls me, I flip my hand over... She turns over the KQ and I out kick her by one card... Oh man that was fun. I mean it all goes to the same place, so it was nice that one other guy came along for the ride.

and this people is why you have to be careful calling raises with KQ. Not to rag on your girl, just to let you know

and this people is why you have to be careful calling raises with KQ. Not to rag on your girl, just to let you know

Yeah... especially when it was me raising. There were maybe 3 or 4 of us who would ever raise preflop at all... everyone else just limped every hand or called the raises... it was a great table. After the fact she told me that she thought I had AK, and bet the flop anyway... but then when I bet the turn, she thought AQ or KQ and eventually said she had convinced herself that I had KQ also.One other time I was just to her left, and she raises the max and I have AK, so I call it, a few other people call and I get my K on the flop. I bet out, and she folds her JJ knowing I hit the flop good... Turn was a J... LOL... She was bitter about that one.

I'm not dyslexic, but the same thing often happens to me on this board. I can't tell you how many times I saw "Howard Lederer ppm" and read "Howard Lederer porn." After cringing, I'd then read it correctly.

For what it's worth, Lori wasn't at the Stacked photo shoot the other day, but from his blog, it sounds like he rolled into town for it and then went right to Commerce to get some sleep for the PPT freeroll on Tuesday. We were at the studio until about midnight (it wasn't supposed to go nearly that long) and Daniel was doing a lot of yawning while they were doing the final group shots. A E

I agree. I own and moderate several music-related message boards and I've never seen anyone who has celeb status allow their followers SO much knowledge of their day-to-day lives.Daniel, thank you for giving us such a peek into your private life. I've been watching the WPT on television for awhile, but I don't play online. Your on-air personality (whether that's your off-air personality also or not, I don't know) is very entertaining, as is your journal.Thank you for making me smile and continued good luck.Lucy

Heh well he keeps it private just as I would. I wouldn't want all my fans to know about my fallings out with my woman. You take forgranted that some fights will end and things will get back to normal- but deep inside, sometimes, you're scared they won't.The less people involved the better.Wish him the best if he has either trouble or beautiful skies.
