Especially with overs and a gutshot. Tough to put the guy on a hand here.Read that he had AA but I still think you played it best by bet/calling the river. Link to post Share on other sites

I think to lead when we are likely ahead; and don't want to give any cards for free.Would you lead any flop, or c/r only? thanks.I could really use help in these situations for 6 Max.very rarely will i take away the lead from someone on the flop. if he was the pre-flop raiser i will either c/c or c/r. 1 situation where i might lead into him is if i flop a low set or something and the other 2 cards are broadway cards. if he raised pre-flop its a good chance he hit some kind of combo of those cards. i would lead the flop and call a raise. then c/r the turn and go from there.
