As some of you are aware of, the Professional Poker Tour is having its first event this weekend in LA featuring over 180 of the biggest names in poker. Just to update on how its going there are 38 ppl left and Negreanu is one of the bigger stacks with 100k in chips in front of him. To give you an idea about how difficult the field is, on day one there was a table that had Ted Forrest, Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, John Juanda, and Chris Ferguson. Thats proly the scariest table i've ever heard of.
The path
of the righteous man is beset on
all sides by the inequities of the
selfish and the tyranny of evil
men. Blessed is he who, in the
name of charity and good will,
shepherds the weak through the
valley of darkness, for he is truly
his brother's keeper and the finder
of lost children.
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those
who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

i can't find video coverage anywhere for most tournaments, but if you go to Pokerpages.com they are updating about every 10 min. Just look at Mike Paulie's daily poker blog, it should say PPT freeroll at the Commerce, day two. Theyve already started playing today.

If anyone knows where you can get video coverage of the early rounds of WPT main event tourneys, or any tourney really, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

is it just me or is that pic of Mike Paulle just plain scary? Looks like he's thinking about sliding a knife between someone's ribs.

1:10 Here comes Daniel! He doubled up against Peter Costa with A K versus an A 10 of Clubs for Costa on the button. Negreanu now has about 100k.

Wow! This stuff doesn't happen to Greg Raymer! Greg flopped trip 10's and got Jose Rosenkrantz to go all-in with pocket Kings. On the turn, Jose had the overpair, a straight draw and a flush draw. Lots of outs. But running Spades was how Greg Raymer was knocked out in 28th.

My pleasure, Tom.29th was Charlie Shoten. A little less spectacular. Shoten had the 5 4 of Hearts and flopped a flush draw. Allen Krell had A K, got a King on the flop and called Charlie's all-in for a 100k pot. 130 The 'other' Hansen won the last longer with Gus, because Gus didn't show up. Tournament vet, Thor Hansen had to make a move with his pocket 3's. The ante is 200 and the blinds are 800/1,600 at this level. Jose Rosenkrantz found pocket Jacks and did the dirty. Thor Hansen is 30th. Since I'm sitting next to Andy Bloch's girlfriend, I get constant Andy updates. He just doubled up against Noli Francisco with A 10 of Diamonds on the button. Noli had A 5 and an Ace on the flop trapped Noli.110 Here comes Daniel! He doubled up against Peter Costa with A K versus an A 10 of Clubs for Costa on the button. Negreanu now has about 100k.
