Loose aggreessive has always worked best for me since the majority of players at the 1/2 nl level are awful postflop players.

I like super tight and super aggressive in low stakes NL ala Ed Miller. It simply gets the money w/ little variance. No need to try an outfox players who will call their stack off w/ marginal hands. Just bet big w/ big hands. Simple.

Yeah catcher makes a great point, outplaying people their is very difficult, your plays will soar way over their heads, these people live for tournament poker and going all in and not playing their hands. Just wait for big hands and overbet them straight up, they never believe you. Heros are everywhere.

For 1/2 Tight Agressive is the best...At this level you can't get too fancy as there are bundles of calling stations..

Strange hearing that with X-22 as his avatar.I think how you play those tables depends mostly with how much practice you've had with each strategy. If you're like most winning low limit NL player, you have had a TA style. If you're looking to improve on playing an LA style, you can try it bc I think it will win more money, in the long run at that level. The problem, of course, is that the variance is high, and the cost of learning it can be expensive. Stick to TA until you have a 2/4 or 3/6 NL bankroll, then move down to work on LA at 1/2.

What the quack are you talking about.OP, tight aggressive works best for most beginners. Even Phil Hellmuth knows that. "Supertight is right," or some crap.
