JSHamm 9
Although this hand seems straightforward and there's not much excitement to it at all, I was wondering if this is the correct play to make OOP. Would anyone play the hand different? GodOfEntropy 0
I think I would raise that up pf since you are opening the action from the CO. Besides this, you only have the button behind you and you have 2 overs plus the flush draw so I like the way you played it.
Helicopter 0
I don't think I would ever open call from the CO.
JSHamm 9
Good point about the pre-flop raise...K 10 suited or not always seems to be one of the "trouble" hands for me, though
jeff_536 3
Good point about the pre-flop raise...K 10 suited or not always seems to be one of the "trouble" hands for me, thoughshould be easy to get away from on the flop if it misses. If it's checked around to you, a bet will often pick up the pot.
econ_tim 0
Hi JSNo hand should be very troublesome when you have position against a small field. If you are first in from the CO, a good rule is raise or fold. You can worry about situations when it might be correct to open limp much later. The rest of the hand is fine. psujohn 0
Ultimate Bet 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cxPreflop: Hero is CO with K:spade:, T:spade:. 5 folds, BB checks.Flop: (3.40 SB) 5:spade:, 9:heart:, 8:spade: (3 players)BB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, BB folds.Turn: (2.70 BB) Q:heart: (2 players)Hero betsDefinately raise or fold pre-flop. I always raise this. The way you played it I typically check this flop and see what happens behind me. I'm hoping that B bets and BB calls but we have odds to call even if BB folds. On the turn we don't have the edge to bet HU. I'll usually check/fold this unless B is weak and likely to fold.
