I actually bought a PS2 for San andreas GTA. It's pretty good, but some people said this was the best game ever! I'm still playing and and wondering why they think that, but I've only played about 12hours or so of the game so we'll see.If anybody has this game, what are the highlight do you like of this game?
It's not the best game (nor are any of the GTA games), but they are so diverse with lots you can do. Frankly, I didn't play San Andreas for more than a few hours myself (my daughter's boyfriend snagged it; I've since gotten another copy, but haven't had the chance to open it up again), but there's just tons to do. You can hit up contacts for missions, work out in the gym, do car tricks (a rhythm minigame like Dance Dance Revolution), find car jumps, etc.Yes, gamers rave about GTA being the world's greatest games, but they've always been pretty sketchy technically (you occasionally find yourself driving through walls; and until San Andreas, if your character went in water, his health would leach off until he died because they didn't want to have to program swimming animations), but the freedom of movement and non-linear gameplay made them games you could play for hours. And, yes, it appears that (to bring this back into the forum focus) Stacked might just be a really cool game. The AI (artificial intelligence) is supposed to be strong, adapting to your play to take advantage of leaks, considering that you'll possibly be on tilt if you lose a couple of hands in a row, etc. And the seven pros are going to be, in the sense of traditional video games, like boss characters that you'll meet at key points...and harder to beat. More on this as I know it (I have assignments to write it up for All In and Games Domain/Yahoo), because the "event" I went to the other day is the photo shoot that Daniel talked about in his blog, and the game wasn't shown at all. I only talked to the game producer about some of the features, and there was a lot that they weren't ready to talk about yet. A E
