Tonights 40k on PP, I really don't know why I waste my time.Im new to table so no reads.200/400 blinds 320 left 200 pay. Avg is around 7000 ??I have 4200 and pick up AQ of hearts UTGI make it 1200, folded to sb who calls, bb folds. Flop K 6 9. w/1 heart.Sb checks and has about 5k behind. I have 3k left. WWYD?I want all analysis of this hand. Preflop and postflop. Should I be jamming pre? Should I be folding pre? With the way I played it what is the correct way to proceed?

I might start updating this again.

I think you want to push pre-flop here. You're OOP, with an M of 7 and the blinds coming up. In position I might try for a longer play since your chip stack is better than 1/2 of the average, but not OOP.As it was played, your 3k is just enough leverage to get a small pair to fold, and I would take the shot by pushing here too. Unless he's slow playing Ks or a set youve got about a 30% chance of winning if he calls, and at least 30% folding equity.

push/fold pf, no doubt about it.70% push 30% fold bc of position and lack of reads

Is that written the way you intended? The "bc of position" seems out of place

This is right on the border for me as I can either push or just raise my standard 3xBB with this hand pre-flop.In your case, post-flop with no reads, I think that I would have to jam here and hope that the flop missed the SB. There is only one overcard on the board which is good enough for me.If I knew that the other player was strong, I would check behind. This is a good situation for the SB to run the stop n go (per Zimmer's blog) and a check instead of a bet would cause alarm bells to go off.

Hmm, so someone did read that one. Well, I would probably push pf here. I honestly think that against bad players, they will call an all in bet with a worse hand then they will a normal raise. You only have 10.5BBs left, and am right on the push/fold line. I think I probably make the standard raise, and jam that flop. It's unlikely to hit his hand, so you could push him out.
