Ok I know I made a joke about folding quad aces to a straight flush... thats obviously a joke. But anyway my friend and I were debating whether or not this was a good fold. I said it was not that hard to fold, he says he would have called. I fold..Turns out The MP guy showed 2 4 A 5 so technically I was just hoping no low card came or i was drawing to a quarter of the pot.Any H/L specialists have an opinion?

I'm not a H/L specialist by any means, but I think this would be fairly easy to figure out.if mp has 16 outs to a low, he's got ~45% to hit it and quarter you. So...heads up, youve got a ~$50 dollar pot.. so its $20 to make $25, 55% of the time and $20 to make $12.50, 45% of the time. I think you average $-.62, but the rake makes it $-3.12.if someone calls behind you (3 way pot), its a ~$67 dollar pot, and assuming they have a naked low draw, you get $33.5, 55% of the time and $16.75, 45% of the time. Makes it $+5.96 / $+2.96 post rake.These seem like the two most likely scenarios to me... Surely its not too farfetched to see someone at .10/.25 chase a naked nutlow under max agression? I dont really play PLO8 much so Im not certain.so.. i guess it depends, even though (in this case) its probably a little better than I suggested up there, seeing as how you had to call less than the 20 i wrote..... $18.75 and have to take a loss of a little more than a buck if you forfeit.All in all I think it was still a good fold considering the possibility of xx44 with 6 limpers, but thats just my opinion.

You haven't invested much, just fold it. You really don't want to play a 3 way pot since one player could have 44, 24 as well, or a 2 with some overs and a low draw. Without any possibility for a real low yourself, you are begging to be quartered

Easy muck, unless you know you're getting in a 3 way all in. In that case, it might be profitable, but still marginal. I try to avoid marginal situations.
