Another $50 NL hand in which I have QQ (10 handed)I have $70ishMP2 has $90s -- is playing pretty good, but is straight forward in every potSB has $40 - $50 -- no read yet at all.BB has $40 - $50 -- just a fish. You should reraise pf to $4 or $5.Other than that it looks good

I don't mind the call in late position with QQ if you trust your ability to play post-flop. In this particular hand I thought you played it excatly right. I have to assume the SB had a flush draw. If that is the case you made him pay a big price to chase the draw. NH

I like to limp QQ a lot now when I play NL. It has earned me much more than always raising it preflop.Took me a while to get, but I really think limping QQ more often than raising/re-raising QQ will make you more money in the long run.people overplaying their medium pairs, AK, AQ, AJ, etc...Of course table conditions and position are all relative, but QQ is a great hand to be deceptive with cause I think it's easy to get off of post flop but also very deadly when someone else makes a top pair and you have limped in.I play it similar to jacks, but obviously I will take QQ > JJ any day.And yes, SB cold calling $15 was like...wtf. Either he has a set or a flush draw cause I couldn't understand what he was doing. The turn I debated checking or putting him all in. I know I'm due to get caught with a set soon. But I don't play scared and I doubt I was folding to any river that wasn't a club, so I decided to take inititive and deal with the results (if he had a set). - Jordan

The way you are talking about him having a set leads me to believe that you wrote down the hand history wrong. From the hand history you posted, you would have a set of Queens so you wouldn't have to be worried about a set. I don't think a check is good on the turn either way. If he has a set you are paying him off and if he has a flush draw you want him to put all his money in on the turn with the draw.

lol - I just got confused that I had top set here -- I jsut posted three hands, forgot I flopped top set on this one...and yes, the HH is correct.but thx for pointing that out...yes, the money is going in here on the turn with my holding the nuts - Jordan

Haven't read replies.First of all, buddy-list small blind.The way you played it preflop, I like overbetting the flop to 20-25. See if you can get someone to overplay KK or AA... overset someone, price out draws.I like getting them in on the turn. For the action and the reads, I'm skipping foreplay and cutting to the chase with 2 clubs.
