Don't have hand history, but don't really need it for this one. Playing a 10 man ring $1/2 limit. I raised in 6th position w/ AJ os to $2, button +1 raises to $3, button raises to $4 all fold to me. Do you call here with AJ knowing you are behind, hoping they have AK or an underpair?Comments.

When facing two bets back to me after my initial raise i tighten up like i have to call two cold. That makes AJo an easy fold.

Fold what is most likely a dominated hand.

w/o reading replies:what is button+1 ?anyway. Getting 13:2 most likely, I call. It's a loose call, probably a bad call.. but I don't want to raise/fold pf with this hand. *read replies*bummer. Don't give results so fast!.

Hmm Actuary, why would you ever want to play a pot where its pretty clear that your hand is dominated? I dont see any hand three betting or capping that we are a favourite over. There are exeptions to this ofcourse, when both players are pure maniacs.

Good fold preflop. Even if you hit your jack, if there was any heavy action you couldn't think your top pair, top kicker was any good?Preflop, you are behind to A/K, A/Q, A/A, K/K, Q/Q, J/J.It depends what your reads are. If these two people will raise and reraise with any pocket pair and you feel you are 90% sure that any ace or jack that hits the board will give you the best hand, then go ahead and call.

i'm very "skalanskyesque" (sshe) on this type of thingi won't call with easily dominated hands like AJ here but I will still call two cold (considering i have the right odds, etc.) with hands that are less dominated like mid pocket pairs and i think 88 for example is a hell of a lot easier hand to play in this spot too
