theredpill99 0
I decided to call a $3 raise in MP with Qh Jh SB callsMP2 calls LP was 40/15Flop: Jc Tc Jd pot = $13SB checksI checkMP2 checksLP (raiser) bets $10SB callsI raise to $30LP callsSB foldsTurn: 7hI bet $15 (hoping he'd raise)LP raises to $40I reraise all-in for $66Good or stupid ? I'm breaking my own rules that I set for myself a long time ago. Never put all your chips in with just trips especially queen high kicker trips. Maybe I've just lost my patience for this crap. I've ran into every single big hand tonight that I could possibly run intoSo far in last hour, I've ran into a Flopped flushI had TPTK (A Q ) on a A 5 2 flop ......raiser had AA for a set (didn't lose much , though)Trip jacks and raiser had A J for better kickerAm I unlucky ?Should I not be calling raises with QJs and if I shouldn't be calling raises with it then how the hell do you make money in NL if you never play a pot ?The reason I ask this is because everyone folds every time I have KK, AA, or QQ they may call preflop but they fold on the flop . theredpill99 0
These tables are 20 % seen flop % . They are tight as ****. ABC won't work and don't tell me these guys are monkeys. Many good players are playing on these tables.I had TTFlop: 2h Td 3hI checkMP bets $5LP raises to $14I raise all-in for $100MP foldsLP foldsLP folded QQ . So I'm getting overpairs money here right ?? Bullshit . I think some of you guys giving criticism haven't been on a NL table in 2 years.
CobaltBlue 662
Yes, you should generally be folding to a raise in this spot pre-flop. I'd like a call here with JTs more than QJs. Way too easy to be dominated while holding a mediocre hand. Also, why the hell did you blow them out of the pot with the nuts? I'm not saying you shouldn't re-raise with the draws out there...but honestly...the only non-donkey things that will call you for that much are 22 or 33.
theredpill99 0
I reraised all-in because the turn and river were going to be hearts. I'm positive and wanted to kick out SB that had the flush draw. Everyone is hitting their draws on me. I need to win some pots every now and then. That's the first pot I've won in 3 days. theredpill99 0
I misplayed the TT because I'm losing every ****ing hand and I can't handle it. I'm playing 1/2 NL now which I haven't played since last year. It's actually more fishier than .50/1 NL if you can believe that. One of first hands I get is AAI raise to $8 preflopI'm sitting on $200I get 1 callerFlop: Td Ah 2cSB checksI bet $10SB raises all-in for $115You got to be kidding me ? Am I dreaming ? I call and waited for the runner runner quads but it never hit and I actually won a pot.As long I'm winning, I'm going to keep sitting at this 1/2 NL game and make all the money that I've lost in the last 3 weeks in about 6 hours. Jordan 1
These tables are 20 % seen flop % . They are tight as censored. ABC won't work and don't tell me these guys are monkeys. You need to learn to devalue money when playing. Don't think in cash form, think in chip form. You misplayed that hand poorly, I know you know. But that is a hand you should be making tons of money on no matter what.next time you flop a set, lead into the pot. If you are raised, and you can put him on a overpair, smooth call. Then c/r the turn. it's simple and works almost every time against your typical AA/KK guy who overplays it.A 2T3 flop is incredibly safe and you don't need to push like that. I know you know, but do it man. I know you've been sucked out on, but you aren't maximizing your value when you play like this.- Jordan
TeeSludge 0
We have all been there before, man. With the way you are talking and now playing it is going to be difficult to do well.If you think something bad is going to happen to you, it probably will. Take a few days off from playing seriously and start fresh.
NoSup4U 0
Yes, you should generally be folding to a raise in this spot pre-flop. I'd like a call here with JTs more than QJs. Way too easy to be dominated while holding a mediocre hand.Same with KQs, ATs, etc etc. All trapping hands. If you're calling with these all the time, you aren't following the Gap Concept well. You don't need to be playing 20% + of your hands to be a winning player either. From your previous posts (not just in this thread) I really get the sense that you're playing too many hands, and getting yourself into situations you aren't comfortable in. The way to fix that is to tighten up your pf hand selection imo.gl,MarkEdit: Just to clarify, I always assume we're talking full 10 handed ring games unless otherwise specified

TJ_Eckleburg 0
Haven't read replies.I absolutely hate the turn bet, and frankly the raise on the flop is close to good... but still kinda weak. MAKE YOUR BETS WITH RESPECT TO POT SIZE.You raise the flop to 30, get called, about 70 dollars in the pot... and you bet 15???
