If Nash comes back healthy, if Brule gets called up and is healthy, if Zherdev starts giving 100%, if Federov fits in with Columbus (a big if), Columbus looks decent. A lot of ifs... Fedorov definitely knows how to play without the puck, but the Blue Jackets are hoping he can regain his scoring touch. Fedorov and Nash might be a deadly combo in a month or so. Does he have anything left?his #'s with the ducks seem okay, :? (never watch the ducks, i'm on the east coast).... initially, I was excited the Blue jackets were gaining some experience and starting to build some credibility around the league. What are the forums thoughts on the Blue Jackets this year? Any fans out there?By the end of the season I hope they will be dangerous. When Nash is healthy they should be able to score at a better rate than 34 goals in 18 games, but they still have a long way to go.As for Nash, he missed the exhibition season with a high ankle sprain :evil: , then hurt his knee :twisted: and is out until mid-December :cry: . They have waived Todd Marchant to do so. I'm interested to see if anyone picks him up. If no team claims him Columbus will most likely send him down and try to work out a trade but they still have to pay him his full salary (if in the minors). It just won't count against the cap.
