On this Thursday is TILT Episode 4. The show has progressivly got better and the character developement has also evolved. At first I thought I wasn't going to like this show, but it's one of the best shows to come out in a long time! WATCH IT!!

I too am a fan of TILT... because I realize that it is FICTION. Not everything has to be reality TV, it's nice to see something that doesn't involve eating something I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole or picking a future wife from a bunch of hookers.

I'm a fan because Madsen's screen presence is awesome. It's a cheap thrill, but watchable.
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

i like madsen . think hes a great actor...but come on. tilt is awful, and he overacts EVERY scene...nobody thinks its corny but me? come on lol...i dont care about it being real..but why so bad!!i keep waiting for the episode where a midget with gingivitis challanges the "matador" to a duel to the death...its that over the top corny...i dont mind corny if its at least entertaining...this is so not...

Don't worry. There's other sane people out there, IveyFan! Yes, Tilt is about as bad as it gets. The cheesy poker table talk is actually pretty funny... unintentionally of course. Here's a link to a pretty humorous, if a bit long, review of the first episode.http://www.livejourn...sers/groanblog/

I enjoy watching TILT because of it's entertainment value. TILT appeals to anyone who has an interest in poker and that is what's so great about it. No matter if you are a professional or a weekend player you can watch the show and be entertained. If nothing else, watch the show because the Apprentice is getting about as old as Amarillo Slim. :D

I thought the third episode was excellent. A dramatic improvement from the first two. This next episode will be key in determining whether the series can be called a success. Based on last week's effort, this fourth one *should* be good. It will be interesting to see if it meets that standard.

That's the point I am trying to make. So many people around here are trying to compare this program to real life poker and you can't do that. If you do, you will hate the show and say it sucks. If you look at the show as fictional or like a movie broken down into many parts, you will really begin to appreciate this show and it's characters. 8)

Madsen is a fantastic actor and the perfect man to play the Matador!

I can't wait for the big showdown between the Matador and Miami. She's going to take him down. It appears Eddy has fallen' to the dark side. You can't blame him though. Just take one look at Matador's daughter and you'll understand why :D

Don't bother Ivey, man. This is the WE-LOVE-TILT thread. Many many people agree with you, but not the people gushing in this thread. But they're entitled to watch overdramatized trash if they're having a good time watching it. Lots of people like pro-wrestling too, who cares.By the by, I don't hate it because it's so obviously fake, I hate it for the poor scripting, the horrible acting (by all but 1 or 2 people), and most of all the extremely bad overdamatization. But again, this is the WE-LOVE-TILT thread, so I won't post here anymore.ps. I still want the hour back of my life that I wasted watching episode 1
