Is a cap 3-bets?Did you fold the third hand on the river?

And what was your read? J9? What was your general read of the opponent?

Also, its very possible he was holding 9 10. His river bet was suspicous, he looked beat until the last nine- when suddenly he straightened up.

I don't like the river fold in hand 3. Getting something like 10:1 I think its a must call. After you check the river to him he could easily be betting a ton of hands that you have beat.

Is there a reason that you're not capping pre-flop in the first hand? And, in the third hand...you're sure enough of your read that you won't win 1/11 times? You can't make this fold online, but I guess it's possible in person.

Yah, well it was my actual first hand at the table and I shoulda mentioned I was short-stacked with 50 dollars. Since, I'd watched the first 4 orbits mp had capped every opportunity and with the action still to him I'd just as well let him be the aggressor my first hand in case I get lucky flopping a K. Which would set up a bet with a likely raise back at me allowing me to call and c/r the expensive street. Since I just called the raise and didn't cap, my turn bet slowed down his straight. I actually said you have AK don't you when I called. It was my worst call of the night.

I'm capping Hand 1 PF every time. Without the cap, i bet into the flop and hope mp or co raise.Hand 2, if this is at all a standard live 3/6 game i'm also certainly betting out on the flop for value and expecting lots of callers.Hand 3, if your read is that good, congratulations. Online, I'm bet/calling this every time.
