He's probably not too worried about a PP or a big ace. Given the range of hands that he put you on, he was probably getting the right odds to call. Not a black&white decision, though, imo.By the way, excellent structure to your post. It should serve as the model for all future questions regarding specific hands. One tiny suggestion, though. Leave the results out of your initial post--post them after you get some responses. That way, there won't be any results-oriented bias. Link to post Share on other sites

randomization 0 Posted February 8, 2005 Share Posted February 8, 2005 This is a good move, imo. There's no point in raising with a hand without going all in with your short stack. If you fold this hand, you get hit by the blinds, so you're left with <1200 (antes, right?) to expend on the next decent hand you get. There are good odds KQo is the best hand you'll get before blinding out of the tourney, but even if you get a better hand, the increased chance of it holding up is balanced by the fact that you'll win less money when it does.
