Maybe I'm the only one and I need a big dose of stfu, but I just wanted to say I'm not a fan at all of the LHE strat and LHE micro split. I realize there are different strategies based on the limit played, but given the amount of posts we have for each, I think one forum would actually be better than two.I love the NL/LHE split, just not the micro split... If it's just me, sorry, and I promise not to bring it up again :)Jeff

I'm not a big fan of the micro split either. I'd rather just keep all the LHE hands together and put limits in the subject line. But apparently this is the new world order and we're to accept it.

I think the influx of new critiquers in Micro is awesome.Hopefully the strong players who paly 2/4  will check in here.Once I move up, I'll do my part.I'm not clear on why splitting matters?Just helps you find what you want to read about.

I initially did not like this idea at all as I feared many of the expert players would no longer provide input, but as that has not been the case, I am alright with the split - and as Actuary said, many more posters have appeared providing commentary, including myself, which makes me believe that the split has reduced the intimidation factor that maybe was there before.

the split has actually made me motivated to post hands. I don't know why it just has.

I like it a lot.I feel like I have enough to contribute to the 2/4+ forum, because of my poker background and the rapport I've got with other posters. But, I've never beaten 2/4. Whenever I post there and don't realize the level of thinking is deeper than I'm used to, I look like a fool and it undermines everything else I've posted and been right about.I have beaten .50/1... and though I don't think of myself as an exclusively limit hold'em poster, I feel like my opinion has clout here.Micro-limit plays different than low limit, and 2/4 is a very good point where the game starts to change. And, obviously, it encourages noobs, is more laid back, and provides a good basis for posting. Most of all, it reminds me that I'm learning more than teaching at LHE, and teaching AND learning at micro.
Always bet like you've got a pair.
