It's really amazing as a neutral fan in this situation(i really wish my beloved bears would actually win something more than once every twenty or thirty years). To win 3 out of 4 spuer bowls this day in age is just amazing. Think about we haven't had a truelly dominating team since the salary cap era really took into effect in the mid 90s. The Bills and Cowboys teams were assembled before the salary cap and it took a few years of the salary cap to pick apart those teams along with retirements. This is a situation we should all enjoy as I see it will be very hard for any team this day in age to do what the Pats have done

Yeah I was rooting for the Eagles because McNabb played college ball 30 minutes from where I live. But you gotta respect the way the Pats play as a team, or really a family for that matter. I can also root for Teddy Bruschi (sp?) cause I used to live in Tucson, AZ and the Wildctas were my favorite college team until I moved back to NY.

Teddy Bruschi (sp?)
Hah...got the Bruschi right...but for some reason it's Tedy.Anyway, this is an odd development for me and many others from the New England area. I could say I grew up with the Patriots, but I really didn't. First and foremost, it is Sox territory, but equally as important, they just weren't on TV enough. Back when they were the laughingstock of the league (except for maybe the Colts...things were different then) the home games were often blacked out...or that's at least what I remember. So my first exposure to the team was that they couldn't even sell enough tickets to get the game on TV. While times have changed, the residue from that original paradigm lingers and it is a little difficult to reconcile with their amazing success. Oh well...it's been a fun ride, and hopefully not over or too insufferable for the rest of the country. I like to think that they are more likeable than the Yankees were when they were pulling this crap. The Eagles played a tough game today. They deserve to win after racking up a series of good seasons that fell just a little short. At least they in good shape to give it another run next year.
