I thought that Erick Lindgren did a great job today after he got used to talking on the camera

It's tough to pick an order, each commentator has their own style. I'd probably have to go...1. Lon and Norman2. Mike and Vince3. Everyone Else1 and 2 is a very close race. I sometimes like how Lon and Norm don't get as involved in analysis and Mike does, but sometimes i prefer the more indepth look. Mike is surely the best player of the 4.Sometime's Norms jokes are goofy funny (a la mattias anderson popsicle comment), other times they are completely retarded (Greg Raymer sponge bath comment) but still, he is colorful. The lamest of all is Vince Van Patten calling every pocket pair he sees wired. That really gets old. We know the pair is wired Vince, they only come that way

Phil Gordon & Mike Foley are probably the best. Phil - "You can almost never be too aggressive in NL Hold Em, but you might have just crossed the line"

If you actually care about moment by moment analysis, the only two worthy of it are Mike and Vince. Say what you want to about Vince's phrases, but he knows his poker. Mike is the consumate professional, and those two take every episode very sriously.Phil has some good things to say, but it's kind of like watching Derek Jeter doing analysis of a celebrity softball game. Good stuff, but nothing to work with. While Norm is thinking of his next punch-line, his mouth is miscalling outs (thats actually the producers fault as well, as they record the commentary later in the studio). Lon and Norm rarely ever do any deeper poker analysis, outside of telling us what outs a player has laced with some jokes. Im sooooooooo sick of that show. Saeason 3 of the wpt is gonna blow the other shows out of the water.... sit tight.

Wow....I cant believe more of you aren't mentioning Howard Lederers name. I think he does the best commentary, by far!! Norman Chads ok sometimes, and other times hes just plain annoying. Mceachern's just a lame ass if you ask me. Vince and Mike are alright. I think the WPT's got the best production.

I really like Micheal Konik and Howard, they both really know poker(duh on howard) and give some good insight. If anyone hasn't noticed two of the best tournaments last year had them as commentaters
