OK THIS IS THE FIRST OF THREE POSTS I WILL WRITE. (they all have to do with eachother I just dont want people answering different stuff) As I have read here many times there are people with talent but on a limited bankroll. Many people here play low limit (Micro limit .50/1 ...1/2) and a lot of them play $5 or $10 Sit N Go's online . Now I want everyone's opinion of which would be better to start BUILDING your bankroll with. here are my thoughts on both the pros and the con's but I have yet to figure out which is a better thing for building my bankroll.Micro Limit Holdem pros:NO RISK AT ALL..yes you risk losing a session or two but the odds will catch up and it is very hard to lose two or three hundred dlrs. playing at .50/1. EVERYONE IS THE SUCKER... you can extract money out of everyplayer even if theyre getting lucky they dont have much skill so in the end youll end up winning.Micro Limit Holdem con's:FRUSTRATING...Losing with Aces sucks and it happens more often than not in these games.SLOW...Building a bankroll will take time a lot of it.. just imagine, you'll need to double up your 200 or 300 bucks just to start playing 1/2 holdem then do it again for 2/4 etc..BORING..even two tables at a time gets boring, but you have to keep at it to see the profits coming in..5/10 dlr Sit N Go's Pro's:EASY,, by just playing the right hands you will often find yourself in the last 4 or 5 ,, patience is the name of the game (something which I lack ..I dont think I've ever been knocked out of a SNG w/out it being a called bluff...sometimes its a bad beat though)FAST.. If you play good and have the discipline of playing your best game every time you can build a bankroll way faster than playing micro limit.5/10 Sit N Go's con's:TOO MANY BAD BEATS...In sit n go's pot odds dont really matter because your not playing for the long run your playing for one hour and thats it so stupid fish calling 3g's with a flush draw ,, or racing your AK with an A9 of clubs tends to suck if your getting beatSWINGS...I can sometimes beat a sit n go almost without getting good hands ,, but if that happens for 6 or 7 straight tourneys in a row I'm screwed.Well those are my thoughts on this and I hope we get it cleared up once and for all ,, My next two posts are about Strategy for each game please read them too and give your opinion ,,,,thnks[/u]

If you have sufficient bankroll to justify the swings I think that Sit N Go's are good ,,but only for a while, once you have a bigger BR you can switch to low limit holdem that would be a steady way of earning money in the long run.

I've doubled my roll in less than a month at the $.50/$1 tables...does that answer your question? Not to mention the fact that if you do have a job, getting up to $1/$2 and $2/$4 wont take long.
