I swear over the last two years I have lost over $100 due to power outages. Today I was playing a $20 HU and had the guy down to 200 in chips, totally dominating him. Then all of a sudden the power goes out for over an hour. Does anyone have a battery backup or anything for thier computer? Just wanted to get some feedback on what I should get to solve this problem! I don't know what I would do if I was in a big buyin MTT and this happened.

The only was to go. You are going to spend about $150 for each good back up, so be aware.

APC and Tripplite are 2 good reliable brands. Tripplite is cheaper and I feel it is the better product. Make sure it has a good surge supression as well and a warranty that covers the products that are plugged into it. Many people do not realize that a brown out can be worse than a black out because you can get a surge which will damage everything.

Aw man where in Ontario do you live? Our power went out about 5 times today, a couple of them lasted close to 2 hours. My town (Aurora) just switched hydro companies today... and look at the result.

I live in Barrie. About 30 minutes north of Aurora. We had huge winds 80km+ today. All I wanted to do was finish the HU match and I wasn't going to play any more because it always happens to me. I swear within 5 hands it would have been over.
