Daniel, I am a local cash game professional that plays at the Wynn $5-10 or $10-20 NL 4-5 times per week. I was playing in the $10-20 game last night and overheard a few of the othe usual guys talking about your most recent trip to the Wynn $5-10 game. To no surprise they mentioned you cleaned up the game, what was surprising is that one of them said you were online later bashing the players. After logging in for my first time and reading your post I would disagree that you were bashing the players but I would like to point out something that is obvious. With a buy in of $125,000 at a table that has an average buy in of $3,000 I think just about any decent player could win without looking at their cards.I would like to see you show up at either the $5-10 or $10-20 game and only buy in for the average stack. I am not saying you wouldnt be heavily favored but I do think it would look better if the Wynn Poker ambassador cleaned up the game with and even buy in, not $125,000.

I didnt say anyone, I said almost any decent player. How many people do you know are able to buy in for $125k? Those who can are at much higher limits. Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to insult Daniel in any way. I have a tremendous amount of respect for him, I just think the regulars at the Wynn would enjoy playing with him more if the buy in was even. Do I think he would be as successful? Yes, but it would erase the impression that he is bullying people, instead he would be beating the game by relying on his skill.

I apologize if this subject was already covered. I signed up to this forum today and didnt see the original posts. Daniel, I appreciate your reply but I am still wondering if you will ever buy in at the Winn with an average chip stack.

depends on many factors, one of which is the supposedly accurate rumor that his contract as poker ambassador for the Wynn has ended.

Well, I'm no longer there, but if I did I can absolutely promise you that it wouldn't hurt me as you think it might. In fact, I'd love to buy in as the SHORTEST stack if they kicked the blinds up to say, $50-$100. The game was fun, but I wasn't taking it seriously nor was I really trying to win conventionally. I was just goofing around, as apposed to playing my A game and TRYING to bust the table.

Hey DN can you PLEASE sit at my 5-10 nl table next time with that much money and keep going all in blind......PLEASE!!! Ill keep calling your blind all ins with any face card, suited connector, pair, or any other decent hand haha!

That was the problem. Daniel should have bought in with an average stack amount and played "real poker" at that level. Sure it might have been boring for him, but he signed a contract and that is what people wanted. The average person can buy in and play $5/$10 no limit, or any other limit, and play with Daniel. I don't understand why that never happened. Daniel played the very first hand dealt at Wynn, a $4/$8 limit game. Why didn't Daniel come in consistantly and play the limits that were at the room? Now before someone blasts me, I know Daniel is very very busy with everything, BUT, he signed a contract.

he had a 6 month contract and chose not to renew it. they wouldn't let him play cash games anywhere but The Wynn.
