Sysvr4 0
Preflop: Hero is SB with K:club:, Q:spade:. UTG raises, Hero calls, BB calls.Flop: (10 SB) A:spade:, Q:diamond:, K:spade: (5 players)Hero bets, MP folds, CO calls, Hero calls.Turn: (11.50 BB) 7:spade: (3 players)Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls...No reads. PF: With all the callers and implied odds, I just couldn't make myself fold this for .75BB in the SB. And I think 3-betting here is silly, so yeah, I cold-called. You hate me for it, don't you?Flop: Honestly, not sure if I'm ahead or not here so I chose to lead. By the end of the action I think I'm actually behind but played it well. Thoughts?Turn: Any other way to play it with middle two pair the nut flush draw?River: doesn't matterJeff
screech 0
Yeah, I like it.Would you cold call here on the button? After UTG calls/caps the flop, you are usually behind to a set/AK/AQ.CO seems pretty strong too. He could have a flush or a straight. On the turn you have enough outs to continue with the flush draw. That's what you'd like to hit on the river. I wouldn't feel too good if a K or Q came off. KDawgCometh 2
if I had position, I'd three bet PF. KQ is generally a three betting hand short handed. as far as the turn play, I'd lead and call. You have some FH outs(though one might be tainted) and you have nut flush outs. Either way, to not go to a showdown with this hand is a gross mistake

Even with MP and CO calling I think I'd 3-bet this on the button to fold the blinds. But calling here in the SB is the play, yes? as far as the turn play, I'd lead and call. You have some FH outs(though one might be tainted) and you have nut flush outs. Either way, to not go to a showdown with this hand is a gross mistakeI think the hand is more interesting if I don't pick up the flush draw on the turn. Oddly, I think it changes to a fold because, as you and screech pointed out, my FH outs are almost certainly dirty. Hell, they may all be dirty.Jeff
Sysvr4 0
Would you cold call here on the button?I think I'd 3-bet this on the button to fold the blinds and build some fold equity. Man I love that button. After UTG calls/caps the flop, you are usually behind to a set/AK/AQ.CO seems pretty strong too. He could have a flush or a straight. On the turn you have enough outs to continue with the flush draw. That's what you'd like to hit on the river. I wouldn't feel too good if a K or Q came off.Couldn't have said it better meself. I agree 100% with all of this. Jeff
