Maybe 3-bet the flop?A "pattern mapper" is an old joke on this forum. We used to say to fish when we outdrew them that we had a pattern mapper that told us when our set was hitting on the turn. Hilarity ensues.
Always bet like you've got a pair.

Are you kidding about preflop? Isn't that pretty standard?I don't think you have to value bet there. What is calling you that you didn't just get counterfeited (sp?) by?

AT, KT, T3 maybe, J9MAYBE we get QQ or KK to fold, but I doubt that.

Is it weak of me to fold pre-flop in this spot?

I think so, I defend a button raise with alot worse than this. With limpers in, I think it makes it easier, since our hand plays pretty well multiway.

I was thinking the same thing.Does anybody else think 3-betting the flop might be better than calling 2 cold?

Are these hands really limp-reraising preflop? Maybe AT, but doubtful. And no, QQ and KK are not folding...if they are smart they are raising.

Oh yeah, I'm definitely calling JTs in this spot. No question. I just don't like that we're going to be out of position against a field with a rather mediocre hand. And, with two limpers, the button is less likely on a straight steal. I guess that's my problem here. If there were more limpers or if they're weren't any limpers, I'd feel better about calling here. This is that awkward middle ground that I don't like.
