home game blunder / favorable ruling (low content)

I was playing 4-handed with some friends on Friday night. I was considerably drunk.. we were testing out the free Nevada Jacks that my buddy got from PSO.I usually run the table over when I play with these people but tonight I'd been fairly card dead. ANYWAY, 1 person gone, late in the night, too much Jack Daniels -- and I look down to 10 10. Then I reach for my chips and blurt out "I'm gonna go ahead and fold"and I splash a bunch of chips in the middle. Everyone kinda looks at me funny and finally someone says. "You just said you fold." "WHAT?? No I didn't"Then I show my cards to someone that folded UTG and I said "would I fold this hand?" (Mike Caro anyone?) Anyway... I started to think about it and how I was slurring my words, so I said... "You're right. I probably said fold. I'm drunk. I'll just fold."But they're a bunch of TAP's and now they're arguing... "No no... dont fold. You misspoke, dont worry about it.""Man, I said I fold, so I have to fold. I declared it or whatever""No no no... play the hand out"I raised scooped the pot preflop.Talk about a favorable ruling.Anyone else want to share drunken home game stories?

thats why i love my thursday homegame (woohoo thats today!), the first 2-3 hrs is generally good poker with well thought out strategy and such.. but the last 2-3 hours is usually drunken mayhem where we're lucky to get 10-15 hands an hour.. and the last hour.. i dont even want to get into that.as for a drunken story like the one described in the first post; the only one that comes to mind is from about 3 months ago, one of our players had a really bad flu, and was really drunk and thus a bad combo...thought he was going to barf. he declares all in dark, goes to the bathroom just in case, has 4 callers (all mid pockets/aq etc) and scoops the pot for about 80$ (our buyin is $10 w/optional rebuys..just a fun game really) with 10-7 on a flopped straight.
