I like it to the river. there i need a read to decide whether or not to bet/fold, check/call, check/fold, it matters a lot with that river, everything else is kosher though. o, just noticed that a 4th spade hit on the river. This is very read dependant here, but most of the time I lean towards check/folding

i like but i also think i check/fold the river most of the time there with that 4th spade - unless you have a good read on the button.

I don't like the flop, with a 4 SB pot and 3 opponents. Why do you care about this pot?I understand the reasoning of every street, and I think the river is fine for a Clarkmeister (although the pot is still tiny). I just don't bet this flop very often, OOP.

:shock: Because we're more likely than our opponents to have the best hand at showdown. Betting increases our equity when people fold, and when they call with overs, we make money because they aren't getting the proper odds to continue.

Flop is standard. You can't play that passively just because the pot is 4 SB. Tim has the best hand the vast majority of the time, and he needs to protect it/get value with it.I'm check/folding the river.

Clarkmeister isn't always best. What do you think button is calling down with here?He has us beat, he's not folding 1/6 times - check/fold.

Thus the tiny pot caveat.Like I said, I understand the reasoning. I play it the same (maybe c/cing the turn). I just don't like doing it. It's like pulling teeth, being out of position with a marginal hand that can easily be outdrawn by any gamboooler playing two high cards.
