I have never seen 1 episode of The Family Guy. I missed out on it during the 1st season, and so many people were talking about it that I wanted to watch it from the 1st episode on. A buddy of mine has the 1st and 2nd seasons on DVD, so I've borrowed them for a while.Looking forward to catching up on what a lot of people have been talking about.

It's alright. I haven't watched enough of them to really form an opinion. Based on what I have seen though, I prefer the Simpsons!

:clap: Family guys screams it in over the simpsons now but what do you expect. I mean, the simpsons has been going for 15 odd years. Its run its course I think, Things get stale eventually. Peter is the new Homer

Family Guy is way better than the Simpons. There are very few things that have happened on the Simpsons that I can remember even though I watched every episode the first 10 years it was on (before it started really sucking) that would still make me laugh. On the other hand, some of the stuff on Family guy still makes me laugh 4 years later. At work, some wierd situation will happen and someone will say "remember that Family guy episode when Peter did this or that" and everyone laughs. That never happens with the Simpsons.Although respect is due, the Simpsons is the longest running show ever, and thats really impressive for an animated prime time series.

What are you talking about? I said I haven't really watched Family Guy. When I said I can remember things after one viewing I was talking about the line from American Pie. You are an idiot!

old school simpsons is hugely better than any family guy, this can not be argued.
