denver poker clubs

ok ... i took advice on the last post i made when i was trying to figure out how to beat a 2-5 game full of card catchers. i started playing home games at a higher limit and no -rake and have done pretty good ... thank you for that advice ... does anyone here know of any poker "clubs" in denver or the area that would accept new players ... i would advise against posting them here but if you could msg me with anything you may know of i would appriciate it greatly ....matt :club:

Hey Matt,You may have already gotten a PM, but if not here is a recommendation.Look at your original thread. Towards the end of the thread, there was a guy in your area that invited you to his game. He corrected me when I mentioned the "matador club", it's the "Matahorn". Me, brain fart. Him, legit.I would PM him and get some details. My guess is he is a dealer in BH and has an apartment and game up in CC. These can be really juicy. When I lived in Denver, I went to a dealers home game who worked at The Lodge. We played touney's mostly. I didn't quite break even when I added in gas, food and such. The game was in Evergreen. It was a lot of fun and I learned quite a bit.Colorado gaming regulation states that a dealer cannot participate in gambling outside of an established gambling institution. Or some such crap, so if he is a dealer, make sure you do it on the down low.
