bdc30 0
Just wondering about when to move from full ringto the 6-max tables (or if I should be moving at all)??I know a lot of people on the forum prefer the 6-maxI was just wondering if they could give some of the reasons for why they play that, as well as when theydecided to move from 10 player to 6.(if it matters, I'm playing 3/6 on Party now)Thanks! DCWildcat 0
1) More hands. Way more hands.2) Much worse players. You'll find >60% VP$IP at least once per table.3) Helps your full ring play, your reads, your table selection, and your marginal decision makingYou should be able to average 3BB/100 at the low limits because the players are so much worse, and you get to make that in less time! What's not to love?

bdc30 0
Is there any particular stat I should try to attainat full ring game BEFORE moving to 6-max?I don't have many hands (7k) at 3-6, and I'm arounda 3-3.5 bb/100, but I know that's a small sample. With variance and the amount of hands you see at6-max, a "downswing" could crush a roll. Also, do you need any more than the usual 300BB rollto move to this game?? akishore 0
Is there any particular stat I should try to attainat full ring game BEFORE moving to 6-max?you should get your standard deviation as high as possible, to preprare yourself.jk.there's no stat that should be ideal before you move to six max. just move. Also, do you need any more than the usual 300BB rollto move to this game??if you got a bit of gamboool and tilt-less-ness and ability to move down if you take a heavy downswing, a 300 BB roll should be fine.with the heavy variance, though, you're going to prefer 400 - 500 BB.aseem
