Breaking Liberty 0
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is BB with [9s], [Jd]. UTG calls, 2 folds, Hero calls, UTG calls.Flop: (6 SB) [9c], [Td], [Tc] (3 players)SB bets, Hero calls, UTG folds.Turn: (4 BB) [3s] (2 players)SB bets, Hero calls.River: (6 BB) [Kc] (2 players)SB bets, Hero calls.Final Pot: 8 BBI am trying to learn how to play 6-max tables. So be gentle. How should I have played this hand, at every street?
Actuary 3
Preflop: foldedFlop: WatchedTurn: WatchedRiver: Watched.Mind you, I"ve yet to play a hand in 6 Max.I'd defend this against a late Pos, like CO-Button Raise..But I'd respect a raise more from SB and given the UTG limp you aren't closing he action, and SB is not just trying to steal.Again, I'd say I don't play 6-Max. screech 0
I may have folded pf. It depends on the sb and the utg player. If UTG is loose, and SB has a high PFR%, I probably call. You have to raise this flop. The hand plays much differently after that.Sometimes I may wait until the turn to raise. I'd be more inclined to do that when there were less overcards that could come. Say, you had KT on a JJT flop. Waiting may be best if your opponent is aggressive.

Sysvr4 0
Unless SB is a rock I'm calling this PF.From there, I raise the flop and fold to a 3-bet. Otherwise, bet/fold the turn.Jeff
KDawgCometh 2
fold PF and raise the flop. this is pretty easy people. If our hand is suited then a PF call can be justified, as is, its not and is just a mid offsuit gapper and we have a limper and a PF raiser in this hand. I fold PF and don't look back(and I'm raising that flop in a heartbeat, calling a three bet and folding UI on the turn)

akishore 0
hey breakingliberty,if you had no read on sb, calling preflop was a HUGE mistake.you REALLY need reads to both be able to effectively play AND analyze (here) these super-marginal postflop situations.without a read, calling down is best. raising the flop is usually counterproductive, it gets you nowhere (at least in my games, where you'll most often be three-bet here 99% of the time by sb's entire range).aseemedit: i can elaborate... raising the flop is best in a passive game against a predictable/passive opponent. i dunno, i haven't played against that type of opponent in a long time. rbakken2504 0
No way you possibly fold this hand preflop, unless you are 100% sre your opponent has an overpair. you're getting 5 to 1 preflop, prolly six to 1, cuz UTG is mostlikely going to call, your implied odds are 7 to 1, becasue sb will lead with any two cards at the flop, make the call preflop, raise the flop, fold to a three bet.
