You are.I think Jordan wants to raise in case villian is on a draw. This costs the same as calling down, (assuming you get a free showdown), and charges the draws as much as possible.If your opponent will bluff at the river with a busted draw, it is better to call down.If opponent wouldn't raise the flop wiht a draw, you can fold the flop.In fact, against an opponent who would semi-bluff raise the flop, you should still probably fold the flop. Reverse implied odds are huge in this hand. Just fold the flop regardless of your opponent.

OK, so what's a good line to use here then?I think pre-flop was fine.Flop, bet/fold? I'm not sure what to take out of the responses so far. And I don't know anything about the opponent (at this stage), but after a while of play realized he was playing about 80-85% of hands, and semi-aggressive after the flop (usually only with a piece of it).

bet/fold or bet/call are OK linesyour full odds on calling down once you are c/r ed are 12 : 2.5, or 4.8 : 1. Against unknown, I bet/fold. I think you get drawn out on or are behind too often.

If he has any piece of that flop he has you drawing to 2 outs, I think bet/fold is fine
