FCP is under attack.Everywhere you look there are pirates, ninjas, and hot chicks. It's time us strat posters restored order to the forums. We'll do this by posting the sexiest hands you've ever seen. The face-melting hotness of our play will instantly hijack threads about Jennifer Tilly, Gus Hanson's bankroll, Daniel Negreanu's lovechild, tinfoil hats, and transfer requests. The revolution will not be televized, but it will be converted and posted on FCP.Here's a hand from a few month's ago that made me cream my jeans.Preflop: econ_tim is UTG with [8d], [9d]. econ_tim calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 3 folds, BB checks.Flop: (5.50 SB) [Jd], [4d], [Th] (5 players)BB checks, econ_tim bets, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, BB folds.Turn: (4.25 BB) [5s] (3 players)econ_tim bets, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls.River: (6.25 BB) [Jh] (2 players)econ_tim bets, ...

I don't have a problem with this bet. You aren't going to win a showdown and there are a bunch of draws the villain could have missed that will fold to a bet (that can still beat your 9-high).

Dirty Dutch used to be cool.I don't want people saying "Actuary used to be cool"of course, that might beat what they already say, anyway.

Dude, don't even start. I haven't been able to play much at all lately, and when I do I'm playing TERRIBLE. I need to start taking my own advice...tighten up, longer sessions, etc. I'm down 100 BB recently, and I think I'm headed back down to .5-1 with you for a while. I'm just hemmoraging money all over the damn place. It's pathetic, and I know I'm better than that...plus I know I've been getting slapped in the face with the cards lately too.

I found u and you left when I sat down... :(I finally put a couple 25+ BB sessions together..short sweet ones.I'm not playing .5/1 anymore, btw. It was too easy to use it as a crutch and proabably messing my game up. Tightening up is helping me and trying to learn to respect c/r's from non-super-Agg's. Betting more for value too. Right now <4k hands at 1/2 but after a great start, just above even now.Speedz post more hands.Certainly at 1/2 you can make bank off the occasional nut Maniac. But generally, you cannot make as many mistakes and still make $$. Most difference I see is facing 2 bets cold to chase draws and finding out the raiser was drawing too. More aggression correct or not to play against.

Tim,I like it.The flop was very draw heavy, and all villian has done so far is call call call. Expect to bluff a busted draw often enough to show profit.

Sounds like it's time to be passive/aggressive about the way we, the righteous and smarter strategy posters, need to reclaim the forum from the younger, dumber, insidious youth that's trying to take over.Or we can realize that we're all one in the same, open up, and post sometimes in other threads we don't like so much... for the purpose of learning more and having more fun.Sign me up.Just don't expect me to go in General because I hate it.
Always bet like you've got a pair.
