sirliej 0 Posted October 19, 2005 Share Posted October 19, 2005 Here's another one..50/$1 Limit I'm CO+2 (I think, eighth out of 10 to act, sorry), with Ah 9h.FLOP [board cards AS,3D,9C ]SB checks, BB checks, MP2 bets $0.50, MP3 $0.50, Hero bets $1, SB folds, BB folds, MP2 folds, MP3 calls $0.50.TURN [board cards AS,3D,9C,AC ]MP3 checks, Hero checks.Should I toss in a bet here? I didn't because I've seen the guy fold when a scare card comes up, but...RIVER [board cards AS,3D,9C,AC,5C ]MP3 checks, Hero bets $1, MP3 calls $1.Final pot 6.5 BBMy apologies if I keep psting really standard hands.I haven't been playing limit for very long. Abbaddabba 0 Posted October 19, 2005 Share Posted October 19, 2005 There are more times that you miss out on bets from someone willing to call the turn and river than there are times that you encourage someone to call the river because of your check on the turn.You also miss out on LOTS of action when he was planning on checkraising the turn with the other ace.
