This is a hard one for me. Daniel is a better player, but Josh has been getting deeper in the tournaments lately. 4.5 ? You're kidding, right? He could not show up and make it to 4.5. Let's give him a little more credit than that.

Dude, can I bet! 4.5 levels, even for me :-) is too low since we are starting with 20,000 in chips. I am going to make one of those bold predictions: I will make day two... that's a guarantee.
Wouldn't it be embarassing if he didn't make it to day 2.I would feel like vomit.

Daniel,Speaking of busting out, I feel sorry for that guy at this years WSOP Main Event who busted out to Sammy Farha on the very first hand of the tournament after Sammy flopped Ace's full of Tens and the other guy flopped 10's full of aces. That was astonishing and one expensive hand. WOW!!

I wouldn't feel too sorry for him. He is an actor and he is also Goldie Hawn's kid. His name is Oliver Hudson.Though I am sure this was not his life savings, I am sure he was extremely disapointed.

It doesn't really matter if he is a son of someone famous or if he even has millions. Anyone who busts out of the main event on the first hand you have to feel sorry for. He played the hand wrong by going all in anyways, because no one's going to call him unless he's beat. He needs to go back to beginner poker and learn how to bet in tournaments, especially if you are playing in the WSOP!

AK wouldn't call there? Maybe some would fold, but a majority with an ace there would call. I had a similar experience in the cash games (for much less money obviously, but still a relatively big flop). KJJ flop, I had KJ and the guy had KK lol. If that was a tournament, the money would be all in as well.

As predicted:
8:40 Daniel has 32375 at the end of day one and is headed home to write in his blog.
Nicely done. Now, do it again tomorrow.
