I was just wondering if this was a correct call.We are about an hour into the tourney (500 person MTT on UB), and I'm sitting about average stack. I have the PFR covered by about 600.Also, what about my raise on the flop?Thanks.Zach---------------- FCPZachH: Jc TcPre-flop: jpecker247 folds. hampi32 folds. plrenifer folds. pondern folds. FCPZachH calls. YooperGirl folds. ShOcKiNgKiNgS folds. Aontheriver raises to 270. crashermatt folds. mslayer81 calls. FCPZachH calls. Flop (board: 9h 8c Ac): mslayer81 bets 60. FCPZachH raises to 300. Aontheriver goes all-in for 2590. mslayer81 folds. FCPZachH calls. Tournament all-in showdown -- players show: Aontheriver shows As Kd. FCPZachH shows Jc Tc.Any feedback would be great.Thanks.Zach

easy call.if he shows you his cards here, the only thing you should even think about folding to is a set. if we were getting closer to big money, i might consider folding to protect a stack, but not this early, no way. make the call, every time.

could an argument be made for a bigger flop raise..even a push?
probably. i wasn't paying that much attention since it's an easy call. but yeah, it's pretty obvious that this guy is weak-leading into precisely the hand he doesn't want to be weak-leading into. i'm probably pushing this flop instead of raising to 300.

It was a second opponent who led for a min bet on the flop. I raised it up to 300 (from 60), and the PFR went all in, with the flop bettor folding.I was pretty sure it was an easy call though. Thanks for the reassurance.I hit a Q on the river, and now i'm sitting in about 25th place with about 125 to go.Zach
