hey, open limping preflop is pretty bad, but since you're the button, it's not nearly as bad as it would be if you were the cutoff.as the stacks get deeper, position and informaitonal advantage matter exponentially more. here, you have position, so i won't criticize it as much as if you were the cutoff. but the main purpose of a raise here is to start gathering information about the hands of the blinds. information is really important.that said, the limp isn't terrible if the texture and tempo of the game dictate it. it might even be optimal under certain conditions. no big deal.that said, i think your postflop play really depends on reads. without a read (and i strongly hope this wasn't the case, for your sake), i think not pumping the turn is pretty bad.are you folding to a big bet on the river if another spade comes? worried about that As?you leave yourself *EXTREMELY* vulnerable to getting outplayed on the river if the board pairs or if a fourth spade lands. can't stress this enough--you leave yourself EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY vulunerable to getting outplayed.not jamming that turn HARD was a huge mistake, in my opinion.aseem

Say for example you do pump up this turn.. In this situation, what are you doing if he comes back over the top.. Is getting all of your money in here inevitable? What about if he calls then checks the river.. what kind of bet would you normally make here?Just curious because I see a lot of this. Thx.

Jam the turn!!!!p.s. if he comes back over the top I put my money in here. I think you've got to pay off the asxs. Giving him the chance to pair the board or hit another spade on the river was such a huge mistake.

I almost feel bad for the "Villain" in this one lol... although you didn't play it donkishly it reminds me of in vegas playing 4/8 lh when I had AA, villain had K9... capped preflop, capped through every street except the river when he made his 4flush.... shudder.
