Got all my chips in as an 85%-15% favorite... what else can you do. I'd have been a monster stack in the tourny (PS $10 rebuy) had I not taken this bad beat, but.... that's poker.weathermaniaPokerStars Game #2774012585: Tournament #13543347, Hold'em No Limit - Level XVI (3000/6000) - 2005/10/10 - 21:01:55 (ET)Table '13543347 120' Seat #3 is the buttonSeat 1: fussieface (210340 in chips) Seat 2: catfish48 (70980 in chips) Seat 3: Bigdaddydvo (85923 in chips) Seat 4: Halfrek (375576 in chips) Seat 5: weathermania (178065 in chips) Seat 6: janos007 (87504 in chips) Seat 7: pure_luck_Z (99408 in chips) Seat 8: Maqaq (203956 in chips) Seat 9: Mariachi (317509 in chips) fussieface: posts the ante 300catfish48: posts the ante 300Bigdaddydvo: posts the ante 300Halfrek: posts the ante 300weathermania: posts the ante 300janos007: posts the ante 300pure_luck_Z: posts the ante 300Maqaq: posts the ante 300Mariachi: posts the ante 300Halfrek: posts small blind 3000weathermania: posts big blind 6000*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to weathermania [Tc Td]janos007: folds pure_luck_Z: folds Maqaq: folds Mariachi: folds fussieface: calls 6000catfish48: folds Bigdaddydvo: folds Halfrek: raises 18000 to 24000weathermania: raises 36000 to 60000fussieface: folds Halfrek: calls 36000*** FLOP *** [7d Th 9c]Halfrek: bets 120000weathermania: calls 117765 and is all-in*** TURN *** [7d Th 9c] [8c]*** RIVER *** [7d Th 9c 8c] [6d]*** SHOW DOWN ***Halfrek: shows [Jd As] (a straight, Seven to Jack)weathermania: shows [Tc Td] (a straight, Six to Ten)Halfrek collected 364230 from potweathermania said, "nice catch"*** SUMMARY ***Total pot 364230 | Rake 0 Board [7d Th 9c 8c 6d]Seat 1: fussieface folded before FlopSeat 2: catfish48 folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 3: Bigdaddydvo (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 4: Halfrek (small blind) showed [Jd As] and won (364230) with a straight, Seven to JackSeat 5: weathermania (big blind) showed [Tc Td] and lost with a straight, Six to TenSeat 6: janos007 folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 7: pure_luck_Z folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 8: Maqaq folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 9: Mariachi folded before Flop (didn't bet)

That sucks, but it's not like you had a tough call.

That Halfrek name sounds familiar. Who is he again?
When I go to a fast food restaurant, and my order comes to $6.28, I like to give the cashier $18.71. They look at me and say 'What's this?' and I say 'I'm all in'. They usually fold.

I'm probably pushing pre-flop. I really hate the small pre-flop re-raise to price in the guy to call with any two cards.Still a tough beat though.

I admit that the reraise was too small. Halfrek was the chip leader and the most active player at the table, so I put him on a steal attempt from the small blind. I figured any non-min reraise would give me the pot. It was just my bad luck that he had a legit hand and went for the big semi-bluff on the flop.weathermania
