It's an important Saturday night game and I have a lot of power to choose from. I made a few last minute changes on defense, inserting Ryan Malone, PIT., Karl Skratkins, Col. and Stephane Robidas in the lineup and taking out Keith Tkachuk, Stl., Craig Rivet, Mon. and Brad Lukowich, NYI. Decisions like that keep you up all night. They could easily mean the difference between a win or a loss. So far after two games in the AHL season my team is second in scoring behind the 1-1 Dawgs who pack some power up front. Here is the matchup for Saturday:Cheap ThievesFORWARDS:Joe Sakic, COL. Without looking at the other rosters, I will guess that Dawgs has the best defensive team in the league. Your forwards and goaltending win this one for you though Daniel.Good luck.
When I go to a fast food restaurant, and my order comes to $6.28, I like to give the cashier $18.71. They look at me and say 'What's this?' and I say 'I'm all in'. They usually fold.

I think you're in trouble tonight Daniel. I would insert Lukowich instead of Sarich. I would imagine Lukowich (vs. Car) will get more scoring opportunities than Sarich (vs. Luongo) .Good luck!

Call it a hunch. Luongo is working off of two straight shutouts and I'm thinking he may have a tough time doing that against TB tonight. Lukowich just doesn't seem to be getting many opportunites...

Looks like the Thieves are set to go 3-0 and the Ghosts went down so my main competition in the division is now 1-2. I actually got a lot of contribution from my defence tonight which is shaping up to be not quite as bad as I first thought. Still need to tweak it, but it's not embarrasing:FORWARDS:Joe Sakic, COL. OT 1.5RYAN MALONE, PIT. 0Alexei Yashin, NYI. 0Alexander Moginly, NJ. 1Olli Jokinen, FLA. xAlexei Kovalev, MON. xxDEFENSE:STEPHANE ROBIDAS, DAL. 0Greg de Vries, ATL. 1.5Corey Sarich, TB. xKARL SKRATKINS, COL. xNew Jersey Devils -15.5Markus Naslund - Vancouver - OT 1JP Dumont - Buffalo 0Cory Stillman - Carolina 0Alex Tanguay - Colorado 0Jeff Halpern - Washington 0Petr Sykora - Anaheim 1DEFENSE Sheldon Souray - Montreal 1Brian Rafalski - NJ 2Dick Tarnstrom - Pittsburgh xChris Pronger - Edmonton 0GOALIES Carolina -1.55 If either Naslund or Pronger get a late assist I'm actually going to lose this game...
