Can anyone please direct me to some material that can help me to become a better 6-max LHE player?I am trying to learn these tables, and I keep getting my ass handed too me. And it's bullshit. There is no reason for it. I am a far better player than any of these jerk offs.I can crush the ten handed tables. I want to learn to play these tables because I know you can make more per hour playing them.Any advice, any links to any strategies would help.

Yea, I only play 6-max but I don't have a problem making money there. But the variance is evil there.

You should learn to use the forum's search function. You have posted a lot of questions that already have their own threads.

What exactly do you want? A guidebook?Look, first off, find a good table. I look for table with about an avg 5-7bb pot..bigger the better for me.First position you should be mucking 22 - 77ish...some muck up to 88...At 6max, I'll start opening UTG normally with ATs, sometimes KTs and better.CO/btn I like to raise A7s or better, but that may be a little too open. I know some suggest A9s or better. I personally will open with a lot of hands here, KJo KQo, etc...As for calling raises, most cold calls in a short handed game = leak.if co/btn raises I usually 3 bet with KJs or better from btn or blinds, and most pairs: 8 or betterif utg/utg+1 raise I usually am mucking most off sooted broadways, minus AK/AQ, unless I have reads to tell me otherwise. Also, depending on your player should influence on what pairs you play.Just work on your preflop selection and your post flop play and eventually you should be on track.the swings though are sick in shorthanded games...if you can't take em', quit now.- Jordan
