I currently have a $400 Bankroll and have been playing .10/.20 Pot Limit. What kind of limit should i be playing? I am playing 6 seat ring tables and wondering what kind of bankroll benchmark i should use. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

20 buy-ins is a good amount. 12 - 15 buy-ins is risky and thin, while 25 - 30 is safe and conservative.the deeper you buy in, the fewer buy-ins you can have in your bankroll. the shallower you buy in, the more buy-ins you need to sustain variance.if the 10c/20c game is a $20 buy-in to you, $400 is a little on the thin side but not terrible.aseem

mostly it's for any big bet form of hold 'em, both no limit and pot limit.but as the stacks get deeper, pot limit hold 'em seems to have lower variance.aseem
