I decided to open an account on Pokerstars and was wondering what method i should use(like FirePay,a creditcard etc.) and i would like to hear your input, and would like to know how safe they are and how they work.

I used neteller and it works pretty well. Goes through right away usually and you can use it on almost every site.

Yeah, I personally use neteller myself. I'd recommend using either neteller or firepay. I'm not a fan of doing credit cards, and lots of credit cards won't let you use them for "known gambling sites", from what I hear. Though obviously some work :D.You usually need a checking account to use firepay/neteller though, so you need one of those. (I guess I'm not SURE you can't use a credit card for neteller, but if you're going to do a credit card, why not do it directly with the site.)

Tried to use a credit card with PokerStars directly today (my first deposit also), but it was declined. Now I have a Neteller account, but haven't decided what I want to do now. I'll probably try to do the credit card deposit to Neteller (and expecting that to be declined also), then "connect" my bank account to Neteller for ongoing use...though if I'm as successful as I dream about, then I won't need to make any more deposits...hehe. I also use Neteller. I works pretty good going in. I haven't withdrawn anything yet but I don't think that will be a problem.I would recommend using the "slow" method because it's free. They make it easy to use their "instant" method but they charge a big fee for that. Look around and you'll be able to find the "free" method. It takes like 4-5 days for the money to clear but it's worth not having a chunk taken out your bankroll before you even start. Sorry, I can't remember the names since I haven't made a deposit in 6 months or so.

Yeah, I've tried to use credit cards at Stars and they were never accepted. Although for some reason one of those cards was accepted at Paradise, which I thought was weird if it was supposed to be "Not allowed for gambling" or whatever. Also, I don't believe you can cash out to a credit card, so even if you do deposit that way, you would need another method to cash out all that money you will make (you do plan on winning, right? 8) ) Anyways, I use neteller and have had no complaints at all. I've never used firepay or any other method, but neteller works well.
