Hey,This is my first post... as people can see by the post count, but anyway I have been lurking for the past 5 months while I have been on a co-op work term and bored to tears at work and thought I would finally get involved with the Strat section. I play at Hollywood poker usually 6 max ring games NL $100 max buy in.So here goes............Background:This hand is from a few weeks ago when I was playing NL $.50 BB 6 handed. My stack size is just above average at $64 and have been playing LAG ish. No solid reads on Villain as he just sat down last orbit.Hollywood Poker No-Limit Hold'em $0.50 BB (6 handed) Relevant Stack SizesHero (Button); $64Villain (UTG+2); $43Preflop: Hero is dealt A :) , A :D 1 fold, Villain raises to $2.00, 1 fold, Hero raises to $6, 2 folds, Villain callsFlop: ($12.75) 8 :club: , 6 :club: , 5 :D (2 players) Villain raises $4, Hero raises $12, Villain goes all in, Hero callsTurn: ($86.76) 7 :club: (2players)River: ($86.75) 2 :) (2 players)Final Pot: $86.75I felt confident in making this call thinking I was more than likely WA, just couldn't put him on 55,66 or 88 calling a re-raise that big preflop. I was thinking high poker pair JJ,QQ,KK,AA or even an overplayed AK or AQ with a back door flush draw maybe? After his all in over the top I wasn't really sure though.Comments on all streets appreciated....will post results later.

The raise wasn't that big preflop. He has put $2 in and only has to call $4 more to try and flop a set, i'd make the same call with any of those hands you "coudn't put him on" But either way, the way this hand played out and based on his stack size, I'm calling the all-in, You could definitely have him beat and his all-in re-raise was just $21 dollars more, bringing the pot to a total of $65. You're getting a little over 3:1 on your money. If you think you're ahead more than 25% of the time, you should call.

raise more preflop 8-12 is good depending on how the table is, I pot the flop making it about 20ish and call the allin
Only after you have lost everything, are you free to do anything.
