I'm a LOW LIMIT guy first of all. Typically NL $00.25 blind and $00.50 (depending on the games). I've done ok (not amazing, I don't think, but ok). I started with 100 bucks about 4 weeks ago and have 680 now. Not amazing, but I'm not playing huge games. Just trying to play in my level of competency.So...last night. It's late (2am-just finished catching up on Lost on Tivo).I sit down at a NL 25cent table. The first hand finishes and says "Player Blank wins 32 with Ace High." I couldn't believe it. Well, I watched and there was one guy who was just crazy playing. He still had 65 bucks after he lost that hand. I kept hoping to hit trips on the flop, cause I thought I could take a decent amount of money. On pokerroom, you can deposit the max of $25, so he had apparently won a bunch. Very aggressive.Short story made shorter. At 2:50 am, I left the table with $121.00. Flopped trips with my pocket 7s and actually called a 25 all in with Queen/four in my hand (defense...Big Blind, saw it for free, Queen hit on the flop and the other crazy aggressive guy just called my bets till the end and I felt like he had 10s..He actually just had King high..) (Situational play that I do NOT play Queen/Four os and call all ins..just one of those times.OK...Slight A.D.D. So...how often do you guys end up having sessions like this where the guys are just playing crazy. He called down so many hands with a pair and a 2 kicker it was insane. For a 25 cent table with max buyin $25, I felt like this was unrreal. Is it? Are there a lot of fish like this out there? What kind of crazy drunk players have you encountered, and what's a big pot for you pros out there?I play for fun, but I think I'm going to go ahead and pick up XM Radio as a treat for me now (still leave me 480 bucks or so in the account).

it happens more often than you would think. Some people that play higher limits online will go to micro NL and LHE tables and nutbar to relieve themselves of tilt. I know this because as I'm rebuilding my bankroll right now(went bust in august) I've seen a few and when I search them again they are sitting at 4 5/10 NL tables or a few 20/40 tables.
Only after you have lost everything, are you free to do anything.

I kind of wondered if that might be true. I don't completley think this was a 'venting' guy. It's possible. It was weird. If I bet out, he'd fold. If I'd check, he'd bet, then I'd raise and he'd jam the pot up. Personal invitation to any high limit players (that aren't very good and don't know it) to come play in my world (very, very cheap world) and vent. Anytime you want.LOLIt was a lot of fun. I'd love to hear if others have experiences like this. I realize to many of you $100 in about 45 minutes or so isn't huge, but for me at a 25cent table with a max of $25, it was huge to me. I still, for the record, don't have any desire to go up to the higher limits yet (bankroll issues). I'm really trying to pay attention to all the good advice online here about playing within your limits. I would really like to try and consistently beat this game for about 6 solid months of consistent playing (don't play but a little bit everyday) before I try to go up limits. Even then, this is a good limit for me. If I have a bad session, I don't lose a ton of money and I just tighten down and try and figure out where my weaknesses. Because of lots of advice here, I've really been able to clear up about 5 of the major holes in my game, and I'm working on the couple that I still have.I'm not saying, at all, that I'm some hugely successful player, or some amazing shark. Not at all. I love playing hold em and would play it all day long every day if I could. I love the game and I'm at about 40 winning sessions out of 45, so I think I'm doing just ok. Not enough to tell yet. I'll talk more once I've got about 40-50,000 hands under my belt.Fun game and last night was a blast.Anybody else have low limit blowouts like this (or better)?
